Just booked – a family of four from Louisiana will experience parts of Poland, Germany and Austria with James this June 10 to 23. It will be the first trip for this family together to Europe, and they will start it with a visit to friends who live in Bratislava, Slovakia, where James will pick them up. This is a young family with two teenagers.
Their tour will be customized around their particular interests. We will be spending time in Krakow, visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp memorial and museum, seeing the gorgeous city of Dresden, experiencing medieval Rothenburg ob der Tauber, taking in World War II history in both Munich and Berchtesgaden and having fun in the Austrian Alps near Innsbruck.
We love exposing people to the history, culture, scenery and great food (and drink!) of Europe, especially when it’s their first time. (Or even their 12th time) This family found us by searching the internet, and their tour is now in the process of being booked, with all hotels and sightseeing reservations being made in advance. The toughest part for them will be getting on the plane. We take care of all of the other details, which is exactly what our client said he wanted when we talked for the first time.
What are your travel dreams for the new year?
